Lighter On Purpose is the customer-facing brand of First Wave Publishing LLC. This Privacy Policy covers our website, inquiries, fit-call applications and bookings, and related communications. The website is intended for adults age 18 and older in the United States. It does not accept payments or enroll you in coaching.
Information we collect and use
We collect the contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, and mobile number, together with your general inquiry, application responses, appointment details, correspondence, and separate communication preferences. We use this information to respond to inquiries, manage applications and appointments, send booking emails, document separate SMS consent choices, and send only the text-message types you expressly select. Marketing texts concern offers, promotions, and program updates. Appointment texts concern confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and cancellations. Each purpose has a separate optional checkbox, unchecked by default. You may select either, both, or neither; SMS consent is not a condition of booking or purchase. Providing a phone number alone does not authorize texts.
Our inquiry forms are not health intake forms. Please do not submit medical history, diagnoses, medication information, photographs, payment information, or other sensitive personal information.
Service providers and SMS information
We use GoHighLevel for forms, appointment scheduling, and communications. We use Google Calendar and Google Meet to coordinate and host booked video calls. GoHighLevel and the providers supporting these functions may process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only for communications from First Wave Publishing LLC through Lighter On Purpose. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Providers supporting our communications may process this information to deliver and manage messages for this business.
Data security practices
Our inquiry form uses HTTPS to transmit information to GoHighLevel, where we manage inquiry records in an authenticated business account. GoHighLevel describes encryption in transit and at rest among its platform safeguards. See GoHighLevel’s security information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit medical records or other sensitive health information through this inquiry form. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our GoHighLevel-hosted pages and embedded form may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to support page and form operation and security. Hosting services may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, and page requests to deliver and maintain the website. Planned Meta Pixel
We plan to use Meta Pixel, also known as Facebook Pixel, in the future. It is not currently installed or active on these inquiry pages. Before activating it, we will update this policy to explain its actual data collection, purposes, and applicable privacy choices.
Retention and your choices
Our standard retention period for inquiry and client records is 18 months after the last interaction or end of coaching, whichever is later. Records needed to document SMS consent, honor opt-outs, or satisfy applicable legal recordkeeping requirements may be kept longer for those limited purposes. This retention statement does not mean that deletion is automatic.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. Requests are subject to applicable law and recordkeeping requirements. To stop SMS messages from this business, reply STOP. For messaging assistance, reply HELP or email us.
Do not submit information for anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information through our website.
